In Feywild, the director wanted the protagonist’s bedroom to have a window from which they could escape. It wanted to be hand-painted with flowers to reflect the character’s artistic ability and fascination with nature.

I was able to take an existing flat that we had and reframe it to accommodate having a window hole. I then got to work on cutting out the actual window, which I gave angled slats. With the help of some other crew members, we painted over the flat with all different types of flowers, and it turned out beautiful.
